I was born in Cape Town and completed a B Comm in Accounting and Computer Science at Stellenbosch University after school. Rowland and I married in our early 20s and have been blessed with 4 sons. We became members of Claremont Methodist Church in 2001, on our return to Cape Town, after living in the UK for 14 years.
In 2020, we based ourselves back in the UK due to the direction of our own business and to be more central to our children who are in the USA, UK and SA. In 2023 I was approached by Rev Graham Goodwin and accepted the role of Treasurer at KCMC.
I am also the Finance Manager of a Christian based NGO, Sikhula Sonke Early Childhood Development NPC, which serves the most vulnerable communities in Khayelitsha, providing preschool education to families and children who would not normally have access to these services due to socio-economic challenges. The organisation was started by Claremont Methodist church in 2001 and is now a registered PBO and NGO.
